A1: No, paint should be fully cured before application.

A2: Yes, HydroProtek is the perfect product to clean multiple surfaces.

Q3: Will HydroProtek Ceramic Spray work as a waterless boat wash?
A3: Yes, the product works very well as a waterless boat wash and is a perfect touch up during the season.

A4: Yes, HydroProtek is a much faster alternative to traditional waxes and crème wax.

Q5: Can HydroProtek be layered or put over a wax?
A5: Yes, you can layer HydroProtek over existing wax. HydroProtek is designed to bond to the surface so for best results you should apply your first application to a clean wax free surface. If you apply over wax HydroProtek will create a hydrophobic surface but may not last as long since it will bond to the wax surface instead of the Gelcoat or Painted surface.

Q6: Can HydroProtek be used as a ceramic refresher?
A6: Yes, HydroProtek will Bond to existing ceramic coatings and will refresh or boost the ceramic to revive its depth of gloss and hydrophobic properties.

Q7: What is the best way to remove any old wax before installing HydroProtek?
A7: We recommend you use Presta DeckSpray part # 1660 to remove any old film or wax on the surface of the boat. This will insure you get proper bonding to the clean dry surface.
