BLUE SHIELD LIQUID SPRAY MASK

AP300™ Blue Shield™ Liquid Spray Mask is designed to replace plastic sheeting or car covers and provides start to finish protection. This water based ready-to-spray liquid mask is fast and easy to apply and dries to a tack-free film that can be taped and re-taped during border masking with paper. AP300™ can be baked multiple times at temperatures up to 170°F / 76°C. One even coat protects any part of the vehicle including grills, wheel wells, engine compartments, and vinyl tops.

 APPLICATION

• Montana Big Sky® AP300™ Liquid Spray Mask may be applied using conventional, HVLP, or airless spray equipment.

• Suggested Fluid tips range from 1.6mm to 1.8mm.

• Border mask around the area to be painted with 18” paper.

• Fold masking paper back over repair area.

• Apply one-single wet coat of AP300™ Liquid Spray Mask to the surfaces to be protected. This includes windows, wheels and tires, door jams, and cured painted surfaces.

 

Tip: Apply only enough material to maintain a complete protective film. Excessive film build will require longer rinsing to remove from the surface.

• Allow AP300™ to dry. Fold paper over onto the surface and tape. To minimize or eliminate additional taping, fold the paper over in the wet spray mask.

• Finish repair area.

• AP300™ Liquid Spray Mask is easily removed with water and a wash mitt during the wash and detail period.
