#555 UNIVERSAL QUICK FINISH
CLEARCOAT 4.2 VOC (NR)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
ADVANTAGE #555 UNIVERSAL QUICK FINISH Clearcoat 4.2 VOC was designed to offer ease of application, great flow and leveling, superior gloss & DOI in a highly productive 2K polyurethane clearcoat. Under the proper conditions #555 can be polished in as little as 90 minutes.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Apply Undercoats and Basecoat per manufacturer’s instruction. Over OEM or completely cured previously painted substrates scuff with a gray scuff pad or 600 grit then wipe clean with Wax & Grease Remover. Allow basecoat adequate flash time (follow manufacturer’s recommendation). Follow basecoat manufacturer’s recommendation for recoat intervals.

MIXING DIRECTIONS:
Mix 4 parts #555 clear with 1 part #551, #552, or #553 activator by volume. Activator selection should be based on the size of the part to be painted and the temperature of both the air and part at time of painting.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:
Number of Coats: 2-3 wet coats
Application Density: Medium-wet to wet
Overlap: 50%
Flash: Follow recommendations in "Dry Time" section
Application Conditions: Minimum Temp - 50°F (Substrate Temp.)
  Max Temp - 100°F (Substrate Temp.)
  Ambient Humidity - Less than 80% preferred

CLEAN-UP & STORAGE:
Clean spray equipment immediately after use with Acrylic Lacquer Thinner or Urethane Reducer. Do not leave material in spray gun.
